Certainly, it is fine to pray for own long life to find the month of Ramzan. Who can do this pray? The person who knows the true value and worth of this Holy Month of Ramzan. Mufti Taqi Usmani is a famous scholar in Pakistan who authored this book, Ramzan Kis Tarha Guzarain.

Two Kinds of Worshiping

There are a kind of worship is about a Muslim Person. Hadiths tell us, all acts of a True Muslim are like a worshipping. Then there is another worshipping known as 5-time prayers, Zakat, Fasting, Hajj, etc. What is the difference between these two worshippings? Mufti Taqi Usmani described these two kinds very well in the following book as 5-time prayer, Fasting, Zakat, and Hajj, etc. are the direct worshipping of Allah by his Servant. While the other all acts done by the true Muslim are indirect worshipping.

Direct Worshiping is Obligatory

There are many questions by the Muslims about direct and indirect worship. A similar question is discussed by Taqi Usmani Sahib in this book. In, the question’s response that direct worship is obligatory for all Muslims. As Holy Koran states that the 5-time prayer at their perfect time is obligatory for Muslims. (see Al Nisa 103)
