Muawiya ibn Sofyan was govenor of Syria since the reign of 2nd Caliphate. In reign of 3rd Caliphate he also remained as governor by 3rd Caliph Usman r.a. In Syria, Muawiya was passing his life not as life of Prophet pbuh and his followers as well as like caliphs of Madina. Abu Zar Ghaffari r.a was opposing Muawiya due to following manners.
