Love Story of Quttam

It is said in the history, Ibn e Muljim was a Kharji from Egypt. He entered Kufa to take revenge from Ali because he Killed his leaders in the Battle of Nahrawan. There, in Kufa, he met a tribe, Taym al-Ribab tribe who were mourning ten of their tribemates killed at Nahrawan by Ali’s army. There he also with a girl named Quttam. It is also said when he saw that girl he lost his senses. He fell in love with her. Ibn e Muljim forgot his assignment. On the other hand, Quttam also wanted revenge, because her father and brother were killed in Nahrawan. Upon the proposal of Ibn e Muljim she said, she would marry him if he could “heal” her by giving her three thousand dinars, a chanteuse, a male slave and the death of Ali.
