We already watched in the serial the time line of Imam Ali a.s that Ali a.s was martyred by Ibn e Muljim. The next Imam and Caliph of Muslims was now Imam Hassan a.s. When Muawiya heard the news that Hasan bin Ali has been selected/declared as Imam/Caliph, he refused and condemned. Imam Hussein was the younger brother of Imam Hasan. This serial is based on events of Islamic History directed and produced by Iranian TV artists. Many parts of this serial may not be in accordance with Sunni school of thought however these scenes have their own importance in history. 

History books tells when Imam Hassan was poisoned and he was injured he called Imam Hussein and told him about poison. When the people of Ali tried to bury Imam Hasan’s body near the grave of Prophet pbuh. Marwan bin Hakam, governor of Madina, argued that mother of believers, Ayesha r.a refused and did not allow to do so. At that time a big riot could be started but someone recited the advice of Imam Hassan that on his death no blood shed should be happened. So it was decided to bury Imam in Jannat al Baqi graveyard. Jada was moved to Syria. It is said Jada lost her senses and became insane. In reward, she was banished from the city. Now the next Imam was Imam Hussein a.s.
