Al Zaitunia Mosque and University

It is the oldest mosque in Tunis having an area of 5000 Square Meters. It has 09 entrances to get entered by the people. This is one of the largest universities of Islam. Many great scholars were educated from this university. There are 160 authentic columns brought from the old city of Carthage. A caliph of Abbasids ordered to construct this mosque and Nasir U Din Allah constructed this.
