Maulana Samiul Haq Assassinated at His Own Home

Pakistani Scholar and Ex-Senator assassinated at his own home:

A Prominent Pakistani Religious Scholar was attacked at his own home. He was chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUIF-S) and head of the Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak. Samiul Haq’s son said, Maulana wanted to participate in Islamabad protest but due to traffic blockage he returned. At Asar Time he was taking rest in his bed, meanwhile, his driver and security guards went out for 15 minutes. When the driver came back he found Maulana dead covered in blood in his own bed. The chief JUI-S Maulana Samiul Haq has been killed in Rawalpindi.
