A Historical Account from the Battle of Badr
Abu Jahal Ki Maut is a short Urdu book written by Maulana Ilyas Qadri Attari. The book narrates the historical incident of the death of Abu Jahl (Amr ibn Hisham), one of the leading opponents of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), during the Battle of Badr.

According to well-known historical reports, both youths had resolved to confront Abu Jahl due to his persistent hostility toward Islam and the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
During the Battle of Badr, they located him in the battlefield and attacked him with their swords, inflicting fatal injuries. After the encounter, they approached the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and presented their swords as evidence. Upon examining the bloodstains, it was confirmed that they had struck him. Later, Abdullah bin Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) found Abu Jahl in a wounded state and completed the matter.
The book presents this episode as an example of youthful bravery, faith, and commitment during one of the most decisive events in early Islamic history. It highlights the moral and spiritual lessons derived from the Battle of Badr rather than merely recounting a historical event.
