Ahmad Amini (1951)
Ahmad Amini was born in Tehran. He is a graduate of the Advanced School of TV and Cinema and has a BA in Film Directing from the Tehran University Faculty of Fine Arts School of Cinema and Theater. He began working in the independent film industry and later worked as an assistant director on the set of the film “High School”. He is the director of the films “Shadows of Incursion”, “Destitution”, “This Woman Won’t Talk” and “Without Goodbye” as well as the dramas “The First Night of Peace” and “Innocents”. He also has experience in writing and Assistant Directing. He was nominated for the Best Screenplay Award of the Fajr International Film Festival for “Shadows of Incursion” and the Best Directing Award of the Iran Cinema Celebration festival for “This Woman Won’t Talk”.
