Train To Pakistan is a Historical novel by Khushwant Singh , a writer, historian, novelist, journalist from India. His another book also available on this site Bharat Ka Khatma (The End of India) (بھارت کا خاتمہ) ، this novel, Train to India was published in 1956 and it is about tragedy occurred during formation of Pakistan in 1947 and other incidents like killing, mismanagement, Looting, Famine, mischief and many inflammatory activities with Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs.This story took place in a village which was located on Indo Pak Border in 1947 and usually train were stoped for a while on the station of that village and news were also arrived to that village by the travelers of the trains which passed from their village.
