A gentle and precious soul, she departed from this world quietly, as if a weary traveler had closed her eyes for peaceful rest after a long journey.

Saira Raza possessed a rare gift for storytelling. Her creative imagination and command over character development gave her stories depth and uniqueness. The characters she created were vivid, emotionally rich, and memorable. Whenever she wrote, she wrote with excellence and sincerity. Beyond her literary brilliance, she was known for her simplicity, honesty, and kind-hearted nature. It seems that her tender heart could not bear the burdens of life for long, and a heart condition became the cause of her untimely departure.
We pray that Allah Almighty grants Saira Raza forgiveness and the highest ranks in Jannah, and blesses her husband, sons, and family with patience and strength. Ameen.
This issue is also special for another reason. With this publication, Shuaa completes forty remarkable years of its journey. The upcoming August issue will be the grand Annual Anniversary Number.
