Rescue 1122 EMT Internship Opportunities 2026
Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122), Government of the Punjab, has announced paid internship opportunities for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Interns. This internship program is aimed at young, qualified candidates who wish to gain hands-on experience in emergency medical services while serving the community.
The advertisement was published in Daily Jang Lahore on 8 January 2026, and applications are invited through the Central Testing Service (CTS).
Internship Position
Post Name: EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Intern
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 40,000/-
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Minimum 2nd Division in Nursing, Paramedical, or EMT / Allied Health Diploma or Degree
Qualification must be from a recognized board, council, or university
Domicile of Punjab is mandatory
Age limit: 18 to 30 years
Candidates with vision less than 6/6 (without glasses), color blindness, a BMI of 30 or above, or medical conditions such as Hepatitis B & C, HIV, or a positive RPR will not be considered.

Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanewal, Vehari, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Okara, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Lodhran, Pakpattan, Narowal, Attock, Jhelum, Kasur, Hafizabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, and many others.
Local candidates will be given preference as per CNIC domicile.
Selection Procedure
The selection process includes multiple stages:
Online application through CTS
Written, psychological, and physical tests at designated centers
Display of shortlisted candidates on CTS & Rescue 1122 websites
Final interview at Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore
Mandatory Basic Rescue Training at Emergency Services Academy, Lahore
