Look at Revolution of Egypt-Protest Erupt on Egypt after Uprising in Tunisia

It was 17th January of 2011 when a man in Egypt set fire on him in-front of parliament. Similarly this happened in Cairo many other Egyptians staged the protest against govt. It is day by day Look at Revolution of Egypt. On 25th January of 2011, thousands of people gathered in Cairo against Govt. People were protesting against Mubarak and clashes were started between police and general people of city. Police used water canons and tear gases against people to control the protest.

On 1st February 2011 Mubarak announced he will not stand for re-election at the end of term.

        • Although the history of Egyptian Monarchy starts with Pharaos of Egypt. We also know this kind of monarchy was ended by at the time of Prophet Yousaf (Joseph). These protests and clashes remained continue till 27th January 2011. On 28 January 2011 Mubarak, president of Egypt announced curfew in Cairo and many other cities. He also deployed army in these cities. Even telephone and internet service was interrupted to control the clashes. Egyptian govt started talk with opposition leaders to control the protest and clashes in country. They also called previously banned Brotherhood party to participate in talk. On February 11, 2011, Mubarak moved to a town and left Cairo. After few hours it was announced through state TV Channel that Mubarak has been stepped down.

          It was also announced by Military of Egypt that the power will handed over to civilian govt. They also announced that international treaties will not be challenged and international treaties will continue to abide. Supreme council of Army of Egypt also suspended both houses of legislation. Army also announced that they will keep power for 6 months or until reelection.
