The Fateful Day (Rooz e Waqiya) is a powerful Iranian film in Urdu that presents the tragic events of Karbala and the عظمت of Ashura.

The story follows a young man named Abdullah who embraces Islam and is preparing for his wedding. During the ceremony, he hears news about the martyrdom of Muslim bin Aqeel and the خطرہ surrounding Imam Hussain (a.s).

Driven by a spiritual call, Abdullah leaves everything behind and sets out to warn Imam Hussain (a.s). However, delays and obstacles prevent him from reaching Karbala on time.

When he finally arrives, he witnesses the aftermath of the tragedy—martyrdom of the companions, ظلم upon the family of the Prophet (PBUH), and the عظیم sacrifice of Imam Hussain (a.s).
