In Prophet Yousaf A.S Episode 35 (Urdu Islamic Serial), the famine spreads far beyond the borders of Egypt. The shortage of rain and continuous drought affect neighboring regions and distant lands as well. Crops fail, livestock weakens, and hunger begins to trouble entire populations. Meanwhile, the temple authorities face a serious crisis. Although they had stored wheat for themselves, they lacked proper knowledge of preservation methods. As a result, much of their grain becomes spoiled and unfit for consumption. Concerned about their survival, the temple is forced to purchase wheat at high rates from government reserves.
Tension rises as some priests attempt to use force to secure additional grain. Under the leadership of their commander, they try to attack government storage points. This conflict reveals the growing struggle between organized administration and those who resist Yousuf’s policies during the difficult years of famine.
