Zuleikha, meanwhile, lives in deep regret over her past actions. Unable to remove Yousuf (A.S.) from her heart, she feels disappointment in the idols she once trusted. In a significant decision, she frees her slaves and maids from Potiphar’s palace, granting them written documents of freedom. Whenever she hears news of Yousuf’s arrival in any area, she quietly goes there just to see him from a distance.
At the same time, the temple resists Yousuf’s famine management policies. He advises the people of Egypt to store wheat carefully and consume only according to their needs, preparing wisely for the coming drought years.
