The Caravan at the Well and the Sale for Few Coins
In Prophet Yousaf A.S Episode 8 (Urdu Islamic Serial), sorrow continues after Yousuf (A.S.) is left in the dry well. The well was not on a common route, as its water was usually salty and unfit for drinking. However, on that day, a caravan was forced by a storm to change its path and stop near the well. Although they knew the water was not suitable, one of the travelers lowered a bucket — and to his surprise, the water was no longer salty.
As they drew water with rope and bucket, they were astonished to find a young boy inside. It was Yousuf (A.S.). Soon after, his brothers appeared and claimed him as their former slave. They sold him to the leader of the caravan for a few coins and even prepared a written sale deed. This moment marks a painful yet significant turning point in the story.
