The Journey to the Desert and the Trial of the Well
In Prophet Yousaf A.S Episode 6 (Urdu Islamic Serial), it was the regular practice of Prophet Jacob (A.S.) to visit the Cave of Machpelah — also known as the Mosque of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) — once a week to pray in solitude. During this time, the brothers of Yousuf (A.S.) repeatedly requested permission to take him with them to the desert along with their flocks. However, their intentions were not pure, and Prophet Jacob (A.S.) refused to send him.
Later, when Yousuf (A.S.) himself expressed the desire to accompany his brothers, Prophet Jacob (A.S.) understood that this matter was part of Allah’s divine plan. Before their departure, he entrusted Yousuf with the sacred shirt of the Prophets.
