After many contrary events, Mokhtar was back in Kufa, here he was chosen as Leader of Kufians. The ex leader of Zubair r.a was removed from chair by people of Kufa.

The people who were involved in martyrdom of Hussein a.s were very afraid of Mokhtar and were trying to hide them or to be accepted by Mokhtar as friend.
