Hani was arrested by police while his tribe started protest against Abdullah son of Ziyad, but he was sentenced to death. Meanwhile Shiites in leadership of Muslim son of Aqeel started fight and governor house was surrounded by Muslim and Shiites of Ali. By nature Kufians were treacherous, unfaithful and cheaters, so they followed their nature and ran away from battle field due to some tactics were also used by Abdullah son of Ziyad, in the end of day, Muslim son of Aqeel remained alone. He got shelter in house of a widow and at last Muslim was arrested by police of Kufa. Muslim son Aqeel was also sentenced to death and Mukhtar as also confined by Abdullah son of Ziyad.
