Fazail e Ayesha Sadiqa
Fazail e Ayesha Sadiqa is an Urdu book authored by Allama Maulana Mansab Ali Khan. The book was written in response to the growing moral and ideological challenges of the modern era, where irreligious trends, disbelief, and disrespect toward sacred Islamic personalities have become increasingly visible.
The author expresses concern over the decline in values such as respect for parents, honor for teachers, reverence for spiritual guides, dignity of the Companions (Sahaba), sanctity of the Prophet ﷺ, respect for the Qur’an, and love for the Ahl al-Bayt. According to the author, this decline is the result of distancing from true religion and from the companionship of righteous scholars.
In this sensitive environment, the author was repeatedly requested by his sincere associates to compile a detailed work on the virtues and status of Sayyida Ayesha Sadiqa (رضی اللہ عنها), the daughter of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضی اللہ عنه) and one of the most respected Mothers of the Believers. Initially considering himself unworthy of the task, he postponed the work multiple times. However, with the spiritual encouragement and blessings of his Pir and Murshid, Fakhr al-Mashayikh Sahibzada Mian Jameel Ahmed, Sajjada Nashin of Sher Rabbani, he finally undertook the project.
The book highlights the virtues, scholarly contributions, character, and elevated rank of Sayyida Ayesha Sadiqa (رضی اللہ عنها) in Islamic history. It aims to strengthen love, respect, and understanding of her life among Muslims, especially in times when misconceptions and sectarian narratives create confusion.
Overall, Fazail e Ayesha Sadiqa is a devotional and scholarly work intended to reaffirm orthodox beliefs regarding one of the most prominent female figures in Islamic tradition.
